Hi, My name is Daniel Toney,
I'm from Annapolis Valley First Nations, Born a proud Mi'kmaq in Berwick NS 1987, I enjoy playing acoustic guitar...the sound is southing to my ear..especially in hard times....I love to pass my free time playing Playstation and learning to become a great gardener...lol.... I love to watch things grow...gives you a sense of accomplishment along the way. I am a Father to a wonderful rambunctious 3 year old son named Malakai, he is my saviour..without him in my life, everything would have fallen apart. I come from a tough past in which I pray for it to stay that way...in the past.....
Im an open minded person with open arms....im willing to help anyone and to stand up for my beliefs.
I began my Undergrad studies last January...this is my second semester of my first year....eveything at Acadia is geared towards the success of it's students....and the development of life long learning.....it's time we take the Two Eyed Seeing concept to the next level. I hope to enrich myself with a wealth of knowledge in which i will take back to my people and share.....Education should be free for all....it was the white man who put the dollar sign on the gift from the creator of knowledge...The Great Spirit sees all and hears all....so remember these words of wisdom and love one another......it is the way of my people and should be the way of all people.
